How did I not know Winona Ryder and Johnny Depp used to go out? What a dream 90’s couple. This explains their convincing chemistry in Edward Scissorhands. Johnny even got Winona Forever tattooed on his arm, though had it altered to Wino Forever when they broke up. My kinda guy.
While I have never actually dyed my hair pink and I don’t have any intention of cutting it back into its 2007 bob all over again, this group of girls have definitely made me want a candy pink wig.

I wonder if the wig choice was inspired by Natalie Portman as Alice in Closer. I suspect she is one of those characters that most women will hate but secretly wish they were.
Anyone remember this scene at the end of the film? If you weren’t too busy admiring her voluminous hair you might notice that she is actually about to get hit by a car as the credits roll. Pretty dark.
Today we have finished launching the Lazy Oaf SS12 Collection and I have to say, it is one of my favourites yet.
For our look book we worked with mega babe model Hannah Kuessner from Germany who’s such a pleasure to shoot as she really comes alive in front of the camera. I think she has a bit of a young Kate Moss look about her here.
Shot by Bella Howard, this is one of my favourite looks as it teams the Spots & Stripes Skirt with a holey black jumper my mum hand knitted for me last Christmas. I want her to make a whole collection. A long vest would be a good version for summer.
I’ve been waiting with bated breath for a fashion designer to cotton onto my love for sharks and release a collection covered in their giant ferocious faces. So I am no doubt thrilled to discover these look book images from Emma Mulholland’s forthcoming AW12 collection. She’s an Australian designer too which makes perfect sense.
I am particularly taken with the trousers. I really hope I can afford them when they’re released.
It’s not nice to turn on the computer and find out something bad has happened. I’m really sad about the news of Davy Jones. They used to show re-runs of The Monkees on TV when I was about 7 and I was really captivated by him. He had such a good face and his accent was amazing.

I should definitely stop looking at photographs of dogs. It’s like a form of self harm. I mean my room is big enough for a dog but my bank balance isn’t. Although maybe if you had a dog like this people would start throwing money at you.
This dog belongs to a boatman in Belgium, I need to find this boatman.
Judging by the photos I have dragged onto my desktop this week, I think I currently have a shoe fetish, all in black obviously.
Really this is the perfect shoe collection. We’ve got:
1. The ridiculously impractical but amazing special occasion heel.
2. The more practical but still hot ass Miista platform boot for your average night on the razz.
3. The staple, neat black boot to wear whenever with whatever.
4. The kind of weird geeky shoe for whenever you’re feeling weird or geeky.
Wow I should be a shoe critic.
Tonight I’ll be spending my evening with this guy. He’s bringing his ink pot and nib and is going to draw my portrait like that scene in the Titanic. Then I am going to play him the song I wrote for him on my harp and he’ll join in with his harmonica.
Or I will be eating chocolate cake with my housemate watching the new series of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. Either way, it’ll be great.
